Otterbein is adding a Full-Time <strong>Maintenance Technician I</strong>I to our team - 32 hours per week!  Candidates with experience and a desire to be part of a great team are encouraged to apply. </p> <p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p> </div> </div> </div> <div class="iCIMS_InfoMsg iCIMS_InfoMsg_Job"> <div class="iCIMS_Expandable_Container"> <div class="iCIMS_Expandable_Text"> <ul> <li>Performs a variety of general maintenance tasks, including general repairs, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, etc.</li> <li>Assists with moving of residents’ furnishings as needed.</li> <li>Paints residents' living quarters as needed.</li> <li>Assists with the on-going preventative maintenance program of cleaning, repairing and operating equipment, which minimizes abnormal equipment failure.</li> <li>Assists with maintaining documentation of fire safety evacuation plan, fire drills, disaster plan, smoking policy, fire alarm testing, fire extinguisher maintenance and testing reports, generator testing logs, water temperatures, flame spread ratings of interior finishes, and other maintenance records.</li> <li>Assists with transportation tasks as needed</li> <li>Maintains a comfortable, safe and secure environment for the residents, their families, visitors and partners.</li> </ul> <h2 class="iCIMS_InfoMsg iCIMS_InfoField_Job">Qualifications</h2> </div> </div> </div> <ul> <li><strong>Education</strong>: High School Diploma or equivalent is required</li> <li><strong>Licensure/Certification</strong>:  Must have a valid Ohio driver’s license and be insurable</li> <li><strong>Experience: </strong>Maintenance experience in a maintenance department and prior experience in a health care facility preferred.
