Problem solvers are welcome, especially those with commercial acumen. You will play a vital role in recommending solutions and driving strategic decision-making processes. Your organizational skills will be key in a fast-paced environment.</p> <p>With a genuine curiosity about emerging payment technology and the blockchain industry, you will be at the forefront of innovation, fueling the expansion of our financial infrastructure and contribute to the future of our finance team.</p> <p><strong>WHAT YOU’LL DO:</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Financial controllership</strong> - Responsible for the delivery of all Brazilian & Bacen GAAP reporting including implementing accounting processes related to month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close including P&L, Balance Sheet, variance analysis, and management reports, including legacy businesses. This will include ensuring data integrity of the ledger, working with operations and other teams to ensure timely receipt of trading and operational data to prepare financial records and other returns.</li> <li><strong>Translate (and explain)</strong> local requirements into Group actionable deliverables, being the bridge between finance, and local providers (auditors, banking providers, tax authorities and others).</li> </ul> <p><strong>Preparation and coordination of:</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Statutory and regulatory audits</strong> - are completed and filed on / ahead of time, including managing / co-ordinating external audit teams efforts effectively</li> <li><strong>Financial regulatory filings</strong> – Ensure financial data / components of financial requests are completed on time ensure sufficient granularity that is repeatable on a regular basis</li> <li><strong>Prepare financial updates</strong> - to external trading partners and investors as required.</li> <li><strong>Financial management reporting (departmental reporting)</strong> – ensure Exco members have sufficient operating / expense cost date for them and their teams and work with the Head of FP&A to follow up on action items</li> <li><strong>Documentation</strong> – help document policies, procedures and ensure best practice for expansion of the department and to provide for contingency / global handover between teams.</li> <li><strong>Outsourced Partners</strong> - Work with outsourced partners on a timely basis to provide financial and other information to enable financial support and assistance to be completed.</li> <li><strong>Treasury and Liquidity Management</strong> <strong>Reporting</strong> – Assist the Head of Treasury and Capital Management report capital and liquidity positions and ongoing reporting requirements in conjunction with senior management.
