Duties: • Manufacture, modify and troubleshoot equipment according to drawings and specifications • Dismantle, move and install heavy equipment safely with lifts and cranes • Analyze then repair or make recommendations to solve equipment issues • Install or modify electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems according to drawings and schematics • Ability to work on multiple projects and provide rapid support while following proper housekeeping and safety procedures • Work within a Manufacturing Engineering team and coordinate with other departments as required • Assume Lead responsibilities when Lead is absent and/or as directed by Manager Qualifications: • Minimum of five years' proven experience with mechanical, electrical and hydraulic associated equipment • Furnish own tools required to complete duties of the position • Interpret three view drawings, including section views • Basic understanding of 2D drafting to support layouts and cutting files • Must have experience in assembly of weldments, bearings, gearing, electrical motors and sensors, pumps, and plumbing • Good trouble-shooting skills on mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and electronic/electrical operating systems • Able to routinely lift 75 lbs. • Good communication skills, detail-oriented, professional, organized, and self-driven with a positive attitude • Must be detail-oriented, professional, self-driven, and flexible to the requirements of each project • Basic computer experience related to hardware and software installation • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel and Word • Maintenance and use of abrasive waterjet systems a plus • Welding by means of Metal Inert Gas (MIG), with Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) a plus • Understanding of Lean Principles a plus OMAX Corporation offers a competitive salary and benefits package, including 401(k) Plan.
