About this role
Duties: • Apply comprehensive mechanical/electrical skills in the assembly of standard mechanical/hydraulic/pneumatic/electrical equipment systems. This includes interpretation of bill of materials, blueprints, pneumatic and hydraulic as well as electrical schematics • Exercise an advanced level of trouble-shooting skills on mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electronic/electrical operating systems • Knowledge in routing wires, assembles and installs low voltage electrical and electronic components, such as circuit boards, communication (CAT5) and power cables, terminal boxes, main control switch panels, and instrument panels, according to specifications, using hand tools, and other equipment • Repair, rework, and calibrate hydraulic and pneumatic assemblies and systems to meet operational specifications and tolerances • Perform computerized functional and dimensional testing with precision measuring equipment, record test result documents or files within the MRP system • Able to grasp instructions quickly in order to complete assigned tasks with little supervision • Keep supervisor informed of critical shortages which effect assembly build • Perform special assignments as required Qualifications: • High School diploma or GED equivalent • Vocational or accredited certification/s within the electrical/mechanical field is preferred • Must have 3-5 years of advanced electro-mechanical assembly experience with an original equipment manufacturer • Lean experience a plus • Self- motivated, detail oriented, energetic and a team player • Furnish own tools • Heavy lifting required (75 lbs.) • Must be able to work some overtime as needed
