Senior Frontend Developer

ABOUT THE ROLE A fast-growing Series A AI search analytics SaaS company based in Berlin is looking for a Senior Frontend Developer to shape the user experience at the core of their product. You'll sit at the intersection of design, data, and AI — turning complex analytical insights into clean, intuitive, and high-performance web interfaces used by marketing teams around the world. This is a fully on-site role in Berlin (5 days per week). Visa sponsorship is not available. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Take ownership of the frontend experience, driving UX quality across the product. - Collaborate closely with design, product, and data teams to translate requirements into polished interfaces. - Turn complex AI-generated insights into clear, beautiful, and accessible UI. - Own the development and ongoing optimization of web applications for speed and reliability. - Champion performance, accessibility, and responsiveness across all user-facing surfaces. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR Required: - Strong CS fundamentals and a solid engineering foundation. - Proficiency with TypeScript and React to build scalable frontend applications. - Hands-on experience with Tailwind CSS and component libraries (e.g., shadcn/ui). - Proven experience with frontend performance optimization and profiling, delivering fast and responsive interfaces. - Strong knowledge of web accessibility and WCAG-compliant UI development. - A genuine design sense — you can review designs critically and iterate on them yourself. - Ability to collaborate effectively across design, product, and data functions. - Willingness to work on-site in Berlin, Germany, 5 days per week (dealbreaker). Nice to Have: - Familiarity with AI tooling and integrating AI-generated insights into frontend applications (e.g., OpenAI, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini, Llama). COMPENSATION & BENEFITS - Salary: €75,000 – €120,000 per year, depending on experience. LOCATION - Berlin, Germany — fully on-site, 5 days per week. - Visa sponsorship is not available; candidates must have existing work authorization in Germany.
