The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining high-quality product content, managing product data, optimizing product listings for search visibility, and ensuring an exceptional online shopping experience. Key Responsibilities Product Content Management Create and maintain engaging product descriptions, features, benefits, and product storytelling content. Standardize product content templates to ensure consistency across product categories. Enhance product pages with feature charts, usage guides, highlights, and customer-focused content. Ensure product information is accurate, complete, and regularly updated. Product Data & Metadata Management Build and maintain category-specific product attributes. Manage product metadata including tags, SEO titles, meta descriptions, URL handles, and image alt text. Audit and cleanse product data to eliminate inconsistencies and outdated information. Maintain structured and accurate product catalog data. Shopify Management Create and manage product listings in Shopify. Manage product variants, collections, metafields, and product organization. Maintain custom product data structures to improve filtering and search functionality. Monitor product listing quality and identify areas for improvement. SEO & Product Discoverability Optimize product pages for SEO and on-site search performance. Apply structured data and schema markup best practices where applicable. Collaborate with internal teams to improve product visibility and conversion rates using performance insights. Continuous Improvement Conduct regular audits to identify content gaps and improve catalogue quality. Support new product launches by ensuring listings are complete and published on time. Stay updated with eCommerce trends, Shopify enhancements, and product content best practices. Mandatory Skills 3–5 years of experience in Product Data Management, eCommerce Merchandising, or Digital Content Management. Hands-on experience with Shopify product management. Strong knowledge of: Product Attribution Product Taxonomy Metadata Management Experience creating high-quality product content and descriptions. Good understanding of SEO for eCommerce product pages. Experience working with Product Information Management (PIM) systems or content management tools. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for product catalogue management. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
